Maryjean Zarick, Registered Music Therapist, is available to provide therapeutic harp sessions for your loved one in hospital, long term care facility or private home.

Maryjean has recently been providing healing music for yoga and guided imagery workshops throughout Central Florida. The music is designed to both relax and energize, while taking advantage of the healing properities of the harp. Participants have reported a greater feeling of wellbeing when these workshops are accompanied by live harp music.

Bachelor of Music Therapy Degree, Ohio University

Internship at Napa State Hopital, Napa, CA

Advanced Training in Guided Imagery and Music with Helen Bonny through the "Institute for Consciousness and Music"

Former member of the Music Therapy faculty at Willamette University, Salem, OR

Graduate harp studies at Lewis and Clark College, Portland OR

Currently Head of the Harp Department at Sweetwater Fine Arts Academy, Longwood, FL

More than 30 years experience teaching, performing and providing music therapy services to the elderly and other special populations

Harp Therapy services rendered within the context of a health care agency may be reimbursable by insurance or other funding sources for individuals with certain needs, under the title of "Activity Therapy."

Music Therapy services have been identified as reimbursable under Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance plans and other services such as state departments and government programs.
